For a moment, Sheen stood among the glittery shirts and mini skirts with a blank stare on his face, staring at his best friend, trying to work out what he had just said. This was why it was hard being best friends with a genius, especially when it was hard for Sheen just to get Cs in English class. But he knew Jimmy so well by now he usually managed to figure out what he was saying. Besides, with words like "mood" and "female", and the fact Cindy wasn't far away from the store, and neither of them looked very happy, even Sheen could piece together that they had gotten into some kind of fight again.
"Oh, I get it, having trouble with the muchachas again, eh, Jimmy?" He sighed. "Y'know, you should really be more like me. I mean, look how me and Libby are doing!"
He glanced out the shop window at the exact girl he was speaking about, smiling to himself. Truth be told, he didn't even exactly know whether the two of them were an official couple or not, but he knew she didn't push him away in an annoyed tone as much as she used to when he tried to act more than friendly with her. They were friends, he knew that much, and he could have sworn she sometimes flirted back with him, but were they actually dating yet?
Well, in Sheen's little fantasy world they were, and that world was more real to him than reality.
"You should just watch me and do what I do!" He said. He thought about that sentence for a moment, and the slightly conceited smile on his face melted. "Oh, and in case that dosen't work, I have back-up." He pulled a pamphlet out of his pocket. It was advertising a book entitled, "The Guide to Understanding Women". It was from the same company of the "How To Impress The Ladies" book Sheen had tried on Libby a long time ago. "See? This book'll tell us everything we need to know!"
