Suddenly I'm feeling very gracious to the weather of the Pacific Northwest... ^.^

I go back August 30th, I think. And I really don't want to. My birthday is over summer vacation (July) so I never have to worry about school getting in the way.
Ugh, I hate where I live (New England). It's always cold here. Our school year was extended like a week for days we had to make up from snow days.

Ick, that sucks... I like New England, but that's probably because I don't live there. In fact, I just love the East Coast... New York, New York is my favorite place in life, excluding Southern California, and I love Florida, too, as well as Maine. Anyway, yeah, I am weird.

I've always figured I'd LOVE New York, but I've never been. I do love Washington, D.C., though. It's just so historic and I'm a sucker for that. Other than that, I've pretty much lived in all my dream places. I was born in Florida - Eglin Air Force Base, which is right on the beach. Then when I was four, we moved to England, just a couple hours north of London. And now I live in California, two hours away from L.A.! As for the weather here - It's rather spastic. ;; In the middle of our incredibly hot and dry summer, this huge thunderstorm blew in last night. It was pouring, the lightning was horror-movie worthy and the thunder was shaking the windows (which we're used to from the sonic booms - the base I live on has a thing with breaking the sound barrier - but still, thunder shouldn't be doing that!). It knocked the power out for hours. @_@;; It was so scary.

New York is absolutely amazing. I liked it way better than Washington D.C., though D.C. is really cool as well. The history is great; the Holocaust museum was amazing. It was my favorite part, though my friend and I came out of it sobbing.
You've lived in all my dream places as well. You lived in England... I'm so jealous! And I really wish I lived in California. My favorite cousins live there (a year older and two years younger, though the one two years younger acts much older than her age) and I'd love to be able to hang out with them. I lived in Riverside for a while, but we moved because of my dad's job. Either way, I love it to death. I kind of wanna live in San Diego, but I love Orange County, which has been a second home to me for my whole life. Also, Disneyland is probably my favorite place on Earth. I'd live there if I could, honestly.
I hate thunderstorms... they're the scariest things ever. I have this weird chronic fear of them. *shudders* I also hate it when the power goes out... it knocks out my fan! And it's so hot during the night, especially when one's sick, that you can't afford you have your fan go out.

Out of the 30-some states I've been too, none of them are eastern coastal! (Well, maybe back when I was too young to think straight, but that doesn't count!) I'm uber-jealous; add that to my list of "Things To Do When Parental Restrictions No Longer Apply", right after Disneyland. (Though the latter is almost likely to be happening in April. w00t!)

Disneyland is truly awesome. I've only been once - but it's the best place EVER. I'm dying to go back! One of my friend's family is totally obsessed with Disney, so I think I might hitch a ride with them sometime this year. Or pay my way into going with the school marching band next May.

My friend's family too! But I've been on one too many trips with them to want to risk it again, be the destination Disneyland or not; I like my limbs too much.

Hmm, so do I. Imagine that. Unfortunately, my cousins and aunt aren't that hard on me. If anything I put their limbs at risk. I can be a bit of a trial, especially when prancing around Disneyland being my hyper ADD-induced self. It's a rather sad state of affairs, I lament to admit, but whatever. I love being hyper at Disneyland. It's appropriete.

I wouldn't know, but I'm sure that's true! No, my friend's family goes beyond hyper-activity. They are just plain crazy. I learned a new little tidbit about them today: they found a wasp's nest by their cousin's back gate, so instead of sensibly leaving it alone, they duct tape the ends closed and shake it up. Just for the heck of it... of course, I laughed, but it's craziness!

Are you kidding me? Okay, yeah, even I'M not that crazy, and I'm pretty psychotic. Well, that's what spy movies with crazy car chases are for, no?

I don't joke about the life-threatening and idiotic (usually both) things my friend's family do. It's not polite to disrespect the soon-to-be dead. But one up on the movie thing! I need to see one; any suggestions? It's been too long and I suddenly realized how deprived I'm feeling.

Umm... hmm... The Italian Job (the new one... about fifty million Mini Coopers in it... I nearly died; that's my dream car), The Bourne Identity/Supremacy (haven't seen Supremacy yet, though...), Gladiator (old, but brilliant), King Arthur (*dies*), The Ring (So... flipping... good... Great plot and the scariest suspense ever), Bridget Jones's Diary (Just FUNNY!)... umm... I have so many movies that I could suggest... You could always watch "Much Ado" again for good measure. Kenneth Branagh, as I'm sure you know, is brilliantly funny... "AH, here comes Beatrice" (my cousin and I had to pause the movie right there because we were laughing and needed to recover)
Anyway, I'm a freak, but there you go. If you need more then just lemme know! Oh, make sure to see "Hitch", too, if you haven't seen it. It's quite funny, if predictable. I know I have more action movies I could suggest, but my mind's going blank.

"The Italian Job"...hmm, I've been recommended, but never seen it! I'll have to go to Blockbuster. "Bourne Identity/Supremacy" are both AWESOME! The latter is rather sad, though, and straight off! Wont' say anything, though..."King Aurthur" *dies as well and watches again, glad she has cable* I only just saw it last week, in fact. Brilliant. "The Ring" I haven't seen but want to desperately. My mom is a stick-in-the-dried-out-mud who doesn't like scary movies. Ah, can't remember what else you typed. But I think I'm going to go watch "Much Ado" again; I absolutely die every time I see it. (I don't even have to SEE it. I can hear it when my mom is playing it upstairs while she's working, and I'm in hysterics.)
Oh yeah, and I have seen "Hitch". Best movie Will Smith has done, if I do say so myself. LOVED it!

Ohhh, YAY! "Hitch" is brilliant; James and Will are awesome. I'm convinced that Will Smith is the hottest man on the face of the planet. *cough* Anyway, had to point that out. As for "The Ring", my mom wasn't very happy with me when I saw it, but she doesn't really care as long as she doesn't have to watc it and it's not in her house (mostly). I watched "The Grudge" at home once, but my mom was at a party and it was just me and my best friend. That was a scary movie, in a manner of speaking, but it was only because things popped up unexpectedly. It had a stupid plot, etc. *gags*
You seem to have the same taste in movies as I do! Seen "Two Weeks Notice"? I watched that today before I went out to practice my songs for my mom's wedding. I also went riding unexpectedly (YAY!!). Anyway... yes... I tend to like a vast amount of movies. I watched "Much Ado" yesterday. Greatness forever. BTW, I think I know what happens in Bourne Supremacy partially. *shrug* Very sad...
